Expression of interest for Enduro riders to race EWS

The Cycling Ireland Off-road Commission is seeking expressions of interest from riders in the Junior and Under 23 age group who would like to be supported to race in the Enduro World Series (EWS) in September.

We are aiming to support two riders, preferably one male and one female in this age group. The two events under consideration are:

Round 7 – Spain – 22/23 September 2018
Round 8 – Italy – 29/30 September 2018

Criteria
The riders must fulfil the following criteria:

Have a current UCI competition membership licence with the country code “IRL”.
Year of birth: 1996-2001

Target results
Qualifying period for events: April 2018 to 31 July 2018.
Criteria would be EWS, other European series, British series, Domestic series. We will also take into account the enduro season to date.

Males @ Irish races – Top 20 overall
Males @ EWS – Top 20 in category
Females @ Irish races – Podium in category
Females @ EWS – Top 10 overall females

This email needs to arrive by close of play on Sunday 5 August 2018. Riders will be selected by 19 August 2018.
