Nominations for Offroad Commission members
Please note there are various positions on the Cycling Ireland Offroad Commission up for nomination.
Nominations must be received by the Offroad Commission by Saturday 1st October at 1:00pm, any nominations received after this date/time will not be accepted.
Vacant positions for nomination:
- The position of Treasurer is up for nomination.
- The position of DH coordinator is up for nomination, Rory O’Keefe is stepping down from this role – thanks to Rory for his work in this area to date.
- The position of CX coordinator is up for nomination, Ollie Castle intends to step down from this role if a person is nominated into/interested in this role.
Positions up for re-election as follows:
- Orla Baxter (Commission member)
- Ciara MacManus (Commission member)
Members who currently do not require re-election:
- Morgan O’Connell (Chairman)
- Fergal Kilkenny (Secretary)
- Damien Duggan (DH Development rep.)
- Alison Murphy (BMX rep.)
- Sean Herlihy (Access rep.)
To nominate a person for election to the Offroad Commission, please send an email to offroad.commission@gmail.com with the subject “Offroad Commission nomination” Nominations must be received by the Offroad Commission by Saturday 1st October at 1:00pm, any nominations received after this date/time will not be accepted.
You must be present at the AGM to propose your nomination or have a representative to act on your behalf.
Here is an example of a motion:
” I [Joe Bloggs] CI Licence number: [] would like to nominate [John Doe] for the position of [insert proposed role/responsibility here]”
