The Offroad Commission invites Junior and Under-16 XC riders from around the country to apply for a place on the 2011 XC Development Squad. The aim of the development squad will be to identify those riders who show greatest potential for development and to assist them in their goal towards Elite level racing and joining Cycling Ireland’s High Performance programme.<\/p>\n

We will be holding two development training days in January aimed at rider selection – in Co. Wicklow on January 16th and Co. Down on January 30th (riders should attend both days).<\/p>\n

Riders interested in attending these training days and trying out for a place on the Development Squad should complete the application form<\/a> and return it to the Offroad Commission by January 7th 2011<\/strong>. Full details of the training days will be provided in advance.<\/p>\n
