Challenge Tires join forces with Bioracer and Atlassian as the main sponsors for the event.<\/p>\n<p><!--more-->Challenge, who have a huge range of tyres to suit all cyclocross conditions, will be supplying tyres to the first three in each category from U14s right through to the UCI Elite races.<\/p>\n<p>As part of Challenge\u2019s support for Irish cyclocross, they will be sponsoring last season\u2019s World Championship Squad for the 2018\/19 season with a variety of Team Edition tires from their extensive range.<\/p>\n<p>Challenge spokesman said, \u201cChallenge Tires are very happy to be supporting the first UCI cyclocross event ever to be held in Ireland.\u00a0 The sport has been pushing for globalisation for many years now and this race is an important part of that. Following the huge progress made by the Irish National team last season, Challenge Tires are also supporting several of the riders who represented Ireland at the 2018 World Championships. We wish everyone well at the race and hope the event is a huge success.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The event, which takes place in Mallusk, Belfast, is a UCI C2 graded race, the first of its kind ever to take place in Ireland and will see witness to international riders as well as the best riders on the Irish domestic circuit.<\/p>\n<p>The Bioracer \u2013 Atlasssian &#8211; Challenge Tires International Cyclocross boasts one of the highest prize funds for any single day bike race in Ireland, with almost 4,000 euro spread across the UCI events.<\/p>\n<p>There will be valuable UCI points up for grabs in the Junior, Women\u2019s and Men\u2019s elite events. The course in Mallusk, just outside Belfast, has been used for previous Ulster Championships and is a mixture of fast straights, cambers and road sections to provide a diverse range of conditions for all riders.<\/p>\n<p>A full programme of races are planned for the day to include races for Under 14s, Under 16s, adult support race and also the main UCI events for Juniors, Under 23s\/Elite men and Women.<\/p>\n<p>Event is pre-entry only.
