{"id":4920,"date":"2016-12-06T22:22:12","date_gmt":"2016-12-06T22:22:12","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.offroadcyclingireland.ie\/wordpress\/?p=4920"},"modified":"2016-12-06T22:22:12","modified_gmt":"2016-12-06T22:22:12","slug":"first-notification-of-the-off-road-commissions-agm","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/www.offroadcyclingireland.ie\/wordpress\/2016\/12\/06\/first-notification-of-the-off-road-commissions-agm\/","title":{"rendered":"First notification of the Off-road Commission&#8217;s AGM"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>This is the first notification of Cycling Ireland Off-road Commission Annual General Meeting (AGM). \u00a0This meeting will take place on Saturday 21 January 2017 &#8211; venue to be confirmed (Dublin based).<\/p>\n<p><strong>Positions on the Commission<br \/>\n<\/strong>The commission will be made up with the following 8 positions. \u00a0All of the posts are up for re-election.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Chair<\/li>\n<li>Secretary<\/li>\n<li>Treasurer<\/li>\n<li>DH co-ordinator<\/li>\n<li>XC co-ordinator<\/li>\n<li>CX co-ordinator<\/li>\n<li>Enduro rep<\/li>\n<li>Youth Development Co-ordinator<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong><!--more--><\/p>\n<p><\/strong>You can put forward nominations for the above posts by following the criteria below. \u00a0You can also put forward motions, again, using the format below. \u00a0Nominations and motions for change must be sent to the commission secretary (<a href=\"mailto:secretary@offroadcyclingireland.ie\">secretary@offroadcyclingireland.ie<\/a>) by close of play on Sunday 15 January 2017. \u00a0The secretary will confirm receipt of your email.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Nominations<\/strong><br \/>\nAll nominations must be from a current Cycling Ireland member aged 18 or over.\u00a0 The nomination should read<br \/>\n\u201cI,\u00a0<b>&lt;your full name&gt;,<\/b>\u00a0Licence number\u00a0<b>&lt;your licence number&gt;,<\/b>\u00a0would like to nominate <strong>&lt;full name of candidate&gt;<\/strong> for the position of <strong>&lt;position&gt;<\/strong>.\u201d<br \/>\nNote: The candidate must be aware of the nomination.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Motions<br \/>\n<\/strong>The motions must be put forward by a Cycling Ireland member and must begin with the line:<br \/>\n\u201cI, <strong>&lt;your full name&gt;<\/strong>, Licence number <b>&lt;your licence number&gt;<\/b>\u00a0would like to put forward the following motion\u2026\u201d. \u00a0Please ensure the motion is clear.<\/p>\n<p>The person who puts forward the motion MUST attend the AGM or their motion will not be heard.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Who can attend?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>All members of Cycling Ireland clubs can attend however only nominated delegates from the clubs are entitled to vote.\u00a0 All attendees must sign in with their name, club, and licence number (either 2016 or 2017).\u00a0 The meeting will be chaired by the current\u00a0chair person, Martin Grimley.<\/p>\n<p>Further details to follow regarding the venue and the schedule.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>This is the first notification of Cycling Ireland Off-road Commission Annual General Meeting (AGM). \u00a0This meeting will take place on Saturday 21 January 2017 &#8211; venue to be confirmed (Dublin based).
