The weather amazingly stayed fine considering there was snow on the track 10 days before! All the teams were out making the effort to erect the tents / pits down the side of the track, Congress BMX, Principal Stay Strong, CAAM Racing / CCM Racing and Area 57 where all there in force. Not forgetting the effort that Bikestore.ie put in setting up their displays.

The big news of the day was that Spanish rider, Diego P. Diego won … squirrely McShane somehow stayed on his bike to take second.

Other groups of note where the 9 year old and the 14 year old boys. In the 9′s we saw the return to the top for Lee O’Sullivan of Congress BMX Racing, Lee just about held off Niall Davis for the win with Ryan Quinn taking third which just keeps him on the top of the table but it’s getting tight up there. In the 14′s we had the top 4 riders swapping places all day but it was Sam Murphy who amassed the best points tally on the day to take the win. Eoin Corrigan finished second and Katie O’Neill grabbed the third spot.
