Irish team heading to Enduro Trophy of Nations

The inaugural Trophy of Nations Enduro event takes place on 29 September at Fnale Ligure, Italy. All Teams were chosen by the Enduro World Series (EWS), using a system of series points and global points then wild card riders. Ireland has two teams entered – A men’s team and an Under 21 men’s team. Unfortuanly there were not have enough Irish females to enter a team.

All riders practice together then the race team is registered on Friday evening. The reserve riders then race in the individual race on Saturday.
Friday night the teams are presented on a stage in the town followed by a parade through the streets. Local bars are themed to the various nations competing at the event.
The main team race is on Sunday. The 3 team mates set off on track in a block choosing their own running order and start gap distance.

Many of the riders are out at the final round of the EWS in Zermatt, Switzerland this weekend 21/22 September 2019.
